Texans Archery Club (TAC) (formally Texins Archery Club) a division of TexasArcheryAcademy.org, offers multiple archery ranges:
The outdoor facility is located in Dallas within the 500 acre Elm Fork Shooting Park complex at 10751 Luna Road, Dallas, TX 75220 (www.elmfork.com). For map and directions go to the “About Us” link above. NOTE: The TAC ranges at Elm Fork are open for members Wednesday thru Sunday, and to the general public on Saturday mornings.
Members also have access to the new 30,000 sq. ft. Texas Archery Academy (TXAA) indoor range in Plano! This facility is located at 600B Accent Drive, Plano, TX 75075. It is on the west side of the building housing the PGA Tour Superstore, just southwest of the intersection of US75 (Central Expwy) and Plano Parkway. Texans Archery Club has the unique situation of offering large outdoor and indoor ranges to its members!

Texans Archery Club (TAC) is a private non-profit club, and membership is available to the general public. Annual cost for 2012 new memberships is $120 for a family. The cost prorates at $10 per month; e.g. if you joined in March you would pay for 10 months, or $100. However, if joining after June, you will be paying dues for the balance of 2012 and for calendar year 2013 as well. Members are requested to perform one hour of service work per calendar year. This is performed at an organized activity (such as a tournament, function or work party). You may complete our on-line Membership form; or sign up in person at Texas Archery Academy Tuesday thru Sunday 11am – 7pm.
Here is a summary of what our new Elm Fork ranges include:
- Practice Range
* targets at distances from 10 – 50 yds
* walk-up shooting platform positioned to shoot 3D targets available for “stump shooting”
* gravel surface to prevent muddy conditions
* picnic tables, bulletin board, archery shed with loaner bows/arrows
- Long-Distance/FITA Range

* field targets at distances of 50, 55, 60, 65 and 70 yds
* FITA targets at 30, 50, 70, and 90 meters
* a couple of 3D targets at in-between distances
* gravel firing line area
* picnic table
- 3-D Trail – Full Time Usage!
* 3-D Woods open full-time (big gravel nature trail loop)
* Long lanes set up to handle all level of shooter, featuring multiple targets – fun and challenging setups
* Some targets may be shot from optional stands

- Broadhead Range
* shady lane with broadhead Cube targets, with optional 2D animal targets.
