Texans Archery Club (TAC) offers multiple ranges, both outdoors and indoors to its members.

The general public are invited to experience archery with us by  attending a DiscoverArchery class or paying a range fee of $10 for access to one of our Archery Ranges.

Texans Archery Club (TAC) is a private non-profit club, and membership is available to the general public. Annual cost for  memberships is $120/yr…NO RANGE FEES.  Members are requested to perform one hour of service work per calendar year. This is performed at an organized activity (such as a tournament, function or work party). You may complete our on-line Membership form; or sign up in person at Texas Archery Academy . We provide archers a Learning Path.

INDOOR - Texas Archery Academy Range Address: 600 Accent Dr Plano, TX 75075.


General public and members have access to the new 30,000 sq. ft. Texas Archery Academy (TXAA) indoor range in Plano! This facility is located at 600 Accent Drive, Plano, TX 75075.  It is on the west side of the building housing the PGA Tour Superstore, just southwest of the intersection of US75 (Central Expwy) and Plano Parkway.  Open to the public Tuesday-Friday noon-8pm, Saturday-Sunday 9am-6pm. INDOOR  - Walnut Hill Range. 9500 N. Central Expwy, Dallas, TX 75231.

 Located on the southeast corner of 75 at Walnut Hill, under the Spec’s Liquor Store, first level of the parking garage.  Open to the public Tuesday-Friday noon-8pm, Saturday-Sunday 9am-6pm. OUTDOOR - Elm Fork Archery Range is located in Dallas within the 500 acre Elm Fork Shooting Park complex at 10751 Luna Road, Dallas, TX 75220 (www.elmfork.com). For map and directions go to the “Elm Fork Archery Range”. NOTE:  The TAC ranges at Elm Fork are open to members Wednesday thru Sunday, roughly daylight hours. The general public may use the range Saturdays 9am-noon only (Details for Saturdays use).

OUTDOORHamilton Park (MEMBERS ONLY)

It is accessible by gate code every day to members only, no guests or public. You must have your own equipment and be proficient at 20 yards. We also require performance of an hour of service work.  If you have not had the opportunity to do the service work yet. Please contact Clint Montgomery

The Hamilton Park Range emphasis is Field Archery, rare in Texas!  There is a main Practice Range utilizing the power easement, a large open field for aerial target shooting/competitions, multi-level shooting tower, and two Field Archery courses. click for details on the layout of  Hamilton Park 

OUTDOOR – West Lake Archery Range is located in Mesquite within the West Lake Sports Center Park complex (Located south of Interstate 80, Gross Road exit) at 601 Gross Road,  Mesquite, TX 75149 (www.cityofmesquite.com/pard).  The range is open to the general public:  
 
M-F noon-dusk; Saturday 9M-dusk; Sunday noon-dusk. Access is controlled by registration at the tennis pro shop. Modest range fee and liability waiver required. This is an 8 lane range featuring shooting distances from 10 to 100 yards.
Texans Archery Club has offered to sponsor the facility with targets, equipment, maintenance, programs, instructor network, and additional range development. This is pending city approval. Once approved, TAC members will have free usage.

OUTDOOR –  (coming 2014)  additional Ranges are in negotiations for Lewisville and Mckinney/Frisco.

Municipal Archery Parks

Texans Archery Club will partner with a municipality to develop, operate, maintain, and secure funding for an Archery Park amenity. More info…
