Texins Archery Club will offer a new Membership level in 2010 for Student Archers. The Student Membership is available to individual students that are attending school or home-schooled, and between the ages of 11 – 18, and have completed a National archery training course or similar private archery training. The fee is $60.00 per year, prorating $5.00 per month. (If joining after June 30, you will pay dues for the remaining months of 2010 and all of 2011.)
To maintain a Student Membership, the individual is required to actively (monthly) participate in at least one of Texins Archery Clubs youth archery programs. They are NASP, ASAP, 4-H, JOAD, CAP.
The following restrictions apply to Student Membership: All students without a Driver license must be accompanied and supervised while shooting at the range by either a Parent or Guardian, Archery Instructor, or Archery Coach. Students with a valid driver’s license may shoot unaccompanied during daylight hours only. No guest shooters allowed.
To apply for a Student Membership, you may complete our on-line Membership form, or the membership form may be obtained on front gate of the range and deposited in the "Drop Box.” A club officer will contact the student (or parent, if student is underage) to attend orientation, scheduled for Wednesdays after 5:30 pm.
